We have a significant expansion of district heating in Falkenberg and are therefore looking for a Construction Manager for District Heating Distribution. The district heating networks are located in the central parts of Falkenberg as well as two smaller local heating networks in Vessigebro and Ullared.

As a Construction Manager with us, you are the spider in the web and responsible for ensuring that the projects work for everyone involved. Externally, you are our face to the customer and have close contact with subcontractors and control bodies. Internally, you have a close collaboration with our project manager for district heating distribution and with the operations staff in the department.

You contribute your knowledge in the early stages of new projects and with construction management in ongoing projects. This involves daily control and logistics coordination of all ongoing projects. You ensure that the requirements for district heating installation are met, are responsible for connections to the existing network, and provide feedback to the project manager.

The role involves both practical efforts in the field and administrative tasks such as planning and compiling project documentation. Part of the work also involves operation, maintenance, and alarm monitoring of our distribution network.

We are looking for someone with an education in construction and civil engineering or equivalent. You have previous experience in project management within the construction industry. Experience in district heating is an advantage. You have a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a great advantage if you have completed industry-specific training such as Project Management in Construction and Civil Engineering for Excavation Contracts, APV, ESA, and EBR. As a person, you are structured, loyal, and have good collaboration skills. You are professional and service-oriented in your interactions with customers, but can also be clear and demanding with our subcontractors. In this role, you need to be able to make decisions, solve problems on-site, and be self-sufficient in your work. You enjoy working in a smaller company with all that it entails; close cooperation, a broad role, and an unpretentious attitude towards each other.
